Mahina

Independent Belgian artist of Congolese descent, Mahina explores an eclectic voice wheresoul, Afrocentric melodies, R&B, reggae, and both acoustic and electronic sounds intertwine, carried by vibrant percussion. Balancing authentic songwriting with versatile production, she creates a unique universe: intimate,spiritual, emotional, engaged, and distinctly feminine.

Moving between deep introspection, spiritual messages, and enchanting harmonies, Mahina embodies a new voice — both innovative and singular. Her ambition is clear: to make listeners feel, heal, resonate, and find a space where music becomes a language of truth and elevation.

Alongside her music, Mahina has performed in the critically acclaimed theater productionDear Winnie (KVS & NNT) and appeared on screen in the short film Le retourdes femmes colibris by visual artist Patricia Kaersenhout.
